About the Role:

We are seeking a TV /Video Director to join our production team and oversee the creative and technical aspects of shooting and producing video content. The Director will be responsible for assisting in all stages of the video/film production process, from conceptualization to execution. You will work closely with producers, camera crews, actors, and other team members to bring the vision to life.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct Video/TV Production: Lead and direct the video or TVshoot, ensuring that all scenes are captured according to the project’s creative vision.
• Collaborate with the Team: Work closely with producers, cinematographers, editors, and other creatives  to ensure seamless production and alignment with the project’s goals.
• Script Interpretation: Translate scripts, storyboards, and briefs into visual content, ensuring the intended message is effectively communicated.
• Supervise Crews: Guide and direct the production team, including camera operators, lighting, sound, and talent, to ensure smooth execution of shots.
• Creative Vision: Develop and maintain a consistent visual and narrative style throughout the production, ensuring the final product meets the quality standards and vision of the project.
• Location Scouting & Set Management: Assist in selecting shooting locations and manage on-set operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently.
• Problem Solving: Address any challenges on set, such as technical issues or unforeseen production problems, and implement quick solutions to keep the production on track.
• Post-Production Collaboration: Work with the editing team to ensure the final video aligns with the intended vision, including reviewing rough cuts and providing feedback on the final edit.
• Talent Direction: Direct actors and on-screen talent to ensure their performances align with the overall vision and tone of the project.
• Adhere to Timelines & Budget: Ensure production is completed on time and within budget, making adjustments when necessary.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience: 3-5 years of experience directing video/tv productions. Previous experience in digital marketing video production is a plus.
• Creative Vision: Strong understanding of storytelling, cinematography, and visual composition.
• Leadership: Ability to lead and inspire teams, while collaborating effectively with a variety of creative professionals.
• Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with the technical aspects of video production (camera work, lighting, sound, etc.) and editing software.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate ideas and vision to the team.
• Adaptability: Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changes on the fly.
• Attention to Detail: Strong eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Portfolio: A portfolio or reel showcasing previous video/film projects is required.

Desirable Qualifications:

• Experience in directing commercial, branded content, or social media videos.
• Proficiency in editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, etc.).
• Understanding of trends in digital media and content marketing.
