Factory Supervisor

Job Summary:The Factory Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily operations in a stationery manufacturing unit, ensuring production targets are met while maintaining quality standards, safety compliance, and efficient workforce management. The role involves supervising production staff, monitoring machinery, and ensuring smooth workflow across all stages of manufacturing.

• Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily production activities in the stationery manufacturing unit (e.g., notebooks, paper products, pens, files, etc.)
• Ensure production targets and deadlines are achieved efficiently
• Monitor product quality and ensure adherence to company standards
• Manage and guide factory workers, machine operators, and helpers
• Maintain discipline, attendance, and productivity of workforce
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of machinery and equipment
• Identify and resolve production issues or bottlenecks quickly
• Implement safety guidelines and ensure compliance with workplace safety standards
• Coordinate with procurement and inventory teams for raw materials
• Maintain production reports, shift records, and performance data
• Train new employees and improve team skills and efficiency
• Minimize waste and optimize resource utilization
• Experience in a manufacturing environment (preferably stationery or paper products)
• Proven experience in supervising factory operations
