Location: Rama Road Industrial Area, Kirti Nagar, New Delhi

Working Hours: Full-Time, 9:00 AM – 6:30 PM

Company Overview:

We are a premium designer boutique and production studio focused on bespoke ethnic and contemporary fashion for men and women. With a strong commitment to craftsmanship and customization, we operate a small but efficient clothing production unit. We are looking for a hands-on, disciplined, and experienced Factory Supervisor to manage the end-to-end operations of our tailoring and garment-making facility.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in supervising garment production or factory operations
• Strong knowledge of tailoring techniques, garment construction, and production workflow (especially in made-to-measure or custom wear)
• Experience working with tailors, pattern masters, embroiderers, and finishing staff
• Ability to read and understand technical specifications and design sketches
• Strong leadership and time management skills
• Comfortable with basic record-keeping, attendance tracking, and reporting
• Basic computer skills (Google Sheets or Excel preferred)

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day factory operations including stitching, embroidery, finishing, and quality control
• Supervise and coordinate with tailors, helpers, and support staff to ensure production timelines are met
• Allocate production tasks based on skill, availability, and urgency of delivery
• Conduct daily production planning and communicate garment priorities
• Ensure high quality in stitching, construction, and finishing for all garments
• Handle quality checks at each stage (raw cutting, post-stitching, post-embroidery, final QC)
• Maintain discipline, hygiene, and safety standards within the unit
• Monitor fabric usage, manage rework, and reduce material wastage
• Ensure timely trial readiness and manage urgent alteration or correction requests
• Report daily work status to the owner or design team and flag delays or issues immediately
• Keep attendance and piece-wage records for tailors and workers accurately
• Coordinate with external vendors for services like dyeing, embroidery, and steam pressing if required

Preferred Skills (Nice-to-Have):

• Knowledge of traditional and modern tailoring techniques for Indian wear (sherwanis, lehengas, kurtas, gowns, etc.)
• Experience with boutique or small-scale production setups
• Basic understanding of inventory control and fabric consumption
• Ability to motivate a team and manage high-pressure deadlines calmly
