Role Overview: We are looking for a Fashion Designer with strong expertise in embroidered designs, hands-on client & account handling, and a forward-looking approach using AI tools for design and trend forecasting. This role blends creativity, commercial understanding, and client-facing responsibility.

Key Responsibilities: Design & Development

• Design embroidered collections (Aari, thread, surface embellishments) aligned with Qazmi’s brand DNA.
• Develop seasonal concepts, color stories, motifs, and silhouettes.
• Create detailed tech packs, embroidery layouts, and design specs for sampling and production.
• Work closely with artisans, vendors, and sampling units to ensure design accuracy and quality.

Trend Forecasting & Research

• Track global & Indian fashion trends, embroidery techniques, fabrics, and consumer preferences.
• Use trend forecasting tools and data insights to guide collection planning.
• Translate trend insights into commercially viable designs for online marketplaces and D2C.

AI & Digital Design

• Actively use AI-powered tools for design ideation, prints, embroidery placements, and mood boards.
• Leverage AI for trend analysis, design iteration, and faster concept development.
• Stay updated with emerging AI apps and integrate them into the design workflow.

Client & Account Management

• Handle key client accounts / marketplace stakeholders /category teams.
• Understand client briefs, customization needs, and commercial requirements.
• Coordinate between design, production, and sales teams to ensure timely delivery.

Desired Profile

• Degree in Fashion Design from a reputed institute (NIFT / Pearl / NID / equivalent).
• 3–6 years of experience in ethnic wear, with strong exposure to embroidered garments and pattern design.
• Hands-on experience in client handling or account management.
• Strong understanding of embroidery techniques, fabrics, and garment construction.
• Proven knowledge of trend forecasting and consumer-led design.
• Working knowledge of AI tools for fashion design (Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, CLO, or similar).
• Commercial mindset with attention to detail and quality.
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
