Field Sales Executive

Job OverviewPaytm is looking for a motivated and results-driven Field Sales Executive to onboard and manage merchants for Paytm’s digital payment and financial solutions. The role involves direct fieldwork, merchant acquisition, relationship management, and driving adoption of Paytm products such as QR codes, POS machines, Soundbox, and financial services.

• Key ResponsibilitiesVisit assigned territories to identify and onboard new merchants for Paytm services
• Promote Paytm products including QR payments, POS devices, Soundbox, and lending solutions
• Educate merchants on digital payments and ensure active usage
• Build and maintain strong relationships with merchants
• Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets
• Conduct market research and identify new business opportunities
• Resolve merchant queries and coordinate with internal support teams
• Ensure proper KYC and documentation during onboarding
• Provide regular reports on sales activities and performance
• Required Skills & QualificationsMinimum qualification: 10+2 / Graduate (preferred)
• Prior experience in field sales, FMCG, telecom, banking, or fintech is an advantage
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to work independently in the field
• Basic knowledge of smartphones and digital applications
• Target-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
• Preferred Candidate ProfileLocal area knowledge
• Two-wheeler with valid driving license (preferred)
