Finance Account Manager

We are a fast-growing, technology-enabled organization operating across B2B services and B2C digital platforms. As we scale, we are looking for a high-ownership Finance & Accounts professional who can independently manage the entire finance, accounting, compliance, payroll, and cash-flow function.

This role is ideal for someone who has handled everything end-to-end and is comfortable taking full responsibility.

🔍 Role Overview

The Finance & Accounts Manager will be the single point of accountability for financial operations, statutory compliance, and reporting. The role works closely with founders, auditors, banks, and internal teams to ensure financial discipline, compliance, and clarity.

🧩 Key Responsibilities

1. Accounting & Financial Reporting

• Maintain complete books of accounts for Private Limited / LLP structures

• Day-to-day accounting, ledger management, and journal entries

• Monthly & annual closing of books

• Preparation of Balance Sheet, P&L, Trial Balance & MIS

• Fixed asset accounting & depreciation

• Inter-department and inter-cost-centre reconciliations

• Audit-ready books at all times

2. Statutory, Tax & Corporate Compliance

• End-to-end GST compliance (returns, reconciliations, notices)

• TDS deduction, payment, returns, and Form 16/16A

• EPF & ESIC registration, challans, filings, and compliance

• ROC compliances (AOC-4, MGT-7, annual filings)

• Coordination with CAs, auditors, and consultants

• Handling statutory and tax notices with advisors

3. Payroll, Labour & HR Finance

• Monthly payroll processing and salary disbursement

• Attendance, overtime, and wage calculations

• Minimum wages and labour law compliance

• Bonus, gratuity, leave encashment provisioning

• Payroll-related statutory compliance and reporting

4. Business & Revenue Accounting

• Contract-based billing and invoicing

• Subscription and service revenue accounting

• Revenue recognition (including deferred income where applicable)

• Payment gateway and bank reconciliations

• Refunds, discounts, credit notes, and chargebacks

• Vendor and subcontractor accounting

5. Cash Flow, Banking & Collections

• Daily bank reconciliation and cash management

• Cash-flow planning and forecasting

• Vendor payment scheduling and payroll funding

• Receivables tracking, ageing analysis, and follow-ups

• Working capital monitoring and fund utilisation

6. MIS, Controls & Management Support

• Monthly MIS and management reports

• Budgeting and variance analysis

• Cost control and optimisation inputs

• Process documentation and SOP creation

• Internal controls and compliance tracking

• Financial support for leadership decision-making

🎯 What We’re Looking For

• 4–7 years of hands-on experience in Finance & Accounts

• Proven experience handling end-to-end accounting independently

• Strong exposure to Private Limited / LLP entities

• Excellent knowledge of GST, TDS, EPF, ESIC, ROC

• Experience in B2B services and/or B2C tech / SaaS environments

• Good communication skills in Hindi & English

• Smart, diligent, responsible, and highly organised

• Comfortable in a fast-paced, founder-led setup
