📌 Job Summary – Finance & Costing (Trading & EXIM)

We are looking for a qualified CA or MBA (Finance) with minimum 3 years of in-house trading experience, having strong expertise in finance, cost calculation, and financial data management.

The role involves handling cost analysis, margin control, profitability tracking, accounting, taxation, EXIM compliance, budgeting, and financial reporting, supporting domestic and international trading operations.

📌 Roles & Responsibilities

1. Costing, Financial Analysis & Reporting

• Lead product-wise cost calculation, margin analysis, and profitability tracking.
• Monitor cost structures, variance analysis, and financial performance metrics.
• Prepare MIS reports, budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance dashboards.
• Ensure accurate financial data management and timely month-end/annual closures.
• Support management with pricing strategies and cost control decisions.

2. Accounting, Taxation & Compliance

• Oversee complete accounting operations including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow.
• Manage GST returns, reconciliations (GSTR-1, 3B, 2B) and ensure statutory compliance.
• Handle TDS/TCS compliance, Income Tax filings, and audit coordination.
• Ensure compliance with Companies Act, EXIM regulations, and financial governance standards

3. EXIM Finance, Costing & Compliance Management

• Oversee financial and costing aspects of all export-import transactions.
• Integrate customs duty, freight, insurance, and landed cost into product costing.
• Monitor EXIM documentation compliance in line with GST, DGFT, FEMA, and banking regulations.
• Manage LC, TT payments, export realization, BRC/FIRC tracking, and bank reconciliations.
• Ensure accurate financial recording of import/export transactions in ERP systems.

4. Inventory Costing & Working Capital Management

• Lead stock valuation, SKU-level costing, margin tracking, and ageing analysis.
• Monitor procurement-to-sales financial cycle ensuring cost efficiency and control.
• Manage receivables, payables, credit control, and working capital optimization.
• Ensure accurate inventory data management and reconciliation with financial records.

5. Financial Controls & Process Optimization

• Strengthen internal financial controls and costing accuracy across departments.
• Develop SOPs for cost monitoring, data management, and financial governance.
• Identify cost leakages, inefficiencies, and implement corrective measures.
• Coordinate with auditors to ensure smooth audit processes and compliance.

6. Budgeting, Forecasting & Strategic Financial Planning

• Prepare budgets, financial forecasts, and cost projections.
•  Conduct variance analysis and profitability benchmarking.
•  Provide financial insights for pricing strategy, procurement planning, and margin   improvement.
• Support management with data-driven decision-making for domestic and international trading operations.

📌 Required Skills & Qualifications

• Qualified CA or MBA (Finance) with minimum 3 years of in-house trading    experience (consultancy experience not considered).
• Strong expertise in cost calculation, margin analysis, profitability tracking, and financial data management.
• Experience in inventory costing, working capital management, budgeting, and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in ERP/Tally, Advanced Excel, GST, Income Tax, and EXIM financial compliance.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to support strategic financial decisions.
