Role Overview:

As a Restaurant Captain, you’ll be the face of front-of-house service, ensuring guests enjoy exceptional dining from arrival to departure. You’ll lead the service team, manage daily floor operations, and deliver personalised, high-standard hospitality aligned with The House of Fio’s brand ethos.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and seat guests with professionalism and warmth.
  • Guide and supervise servers during service to maintain excellent hospitality.
  • Be highly knowledgeable about the menu, specials, and wine selections.
  • Ensure accurate and timely order taking and delivery.
  • Handle guest feedback promptly and elevate the customer experience.
  • Maintain service standards, cleanliness, and table presentation.
  • Assist in training and mentoring front-of-house staff for consistently high performance.

Skills & Experience:

  • Prior experience in a supervisory front-of-house role in a restaurant or hospitality environment.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and guest service skills.
  • Ability to manage pressure during peak service hours with poise and efficiency.
