Job Title: Franchise Development Manager
Job Summary:
The Franchise Development Manager is responsible for expanding the company’s franchise network by identifying, recruiting, evaluating, and onboarding new franchise partners. This role involves strategic planning, lead generation, negotiations, and relationship management to ensure sustainable and profitable franchise growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute franchise expansion strategies aligned with company goals
Identify potential franchise locations and qualified franchise partners
Generate franchise leads through marketing campaigns, referrals, and networking
Conduct franchise presentations, meetings, and business discussions with prospects
Evaluate franchise applications, financial capability, and market potential
Negotiate franchise agreements and ensure timely closure of deals
Coordinate with legal, finance, and operations teams for franchise onboarding
Support franchisees during the setup phase and ensure brand compliance
Maintain strong relationships with existing franchise partners
Monitor franchise performance and address operational or commercial issues
Prepare and present regular reports on franchise development progress
Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activity, and market conditions
Skills & Competencies:
Strong sales, negotiation, and closing skills
Excellent communication and presentation abilities
Strategic thinking with market analysis skills
Relationship-building and stakeholder management
Ability to work independently and meet targets
Knowledge of franchise business models and agreements
Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and reporting systems
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
Experience:
3–7 years of experience in franchise sales, business development, or channel expansion
Experience in retail, FMCG, E-commerce field, education, or service industries preferred
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
Number of new franchises signed
Franchise revenue growth
