Job Description
Government Sales Manager (B2B Electronics):
We are looking for an experienced Government Sales Manager to lead and grow our B2B electronics business across Central and State Government departments, PSUs, and institutional clients. The role involves end-to-end management of government sales including opportunity identification, GeM portal operations, tender participation (RFQs, RFPs, BOQs), pricing and negotiation, order closure, and coordination for smooth execution. The candidate will build and maintain strong relationships with government officials and procurement teams, ensure compliance with procurement norms and documentation, track upcoming tenders and projects, and achieve defined revenue targets. A strong understanding of GeM, government tendering processes, and B2B electronics/IT products is required, along with excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Roles and Responsibilities
1. Manages to achieve sales through government agencies.
2. Designs and recommends sales programs and sets short- and long-term sales strategies.
3. Evaluates and implements appropriate new sales techniques to increase the department's sales volume.
4. Recommend product or service enhancements to improve customer satisfaction and sales potential.
5. Ensures projects are completed on time and within budget.
6. To handle the end-to-end sales process for furniture market.
7. Good Knowledge of local market Departments/PSUs/State-Central Government
8. To know about Government Contractor and basic knowledge of architects/furniture business
9. Managing sub-contractors and dealers for government business
10. To ensure the government sales process/tendering process at the basic level.
Desired Candidate Profile
- 1-2years of experience in B2B Sales or Business Development in the B2B ELECTRONICS.
- Proven track record of success in generating leads and closing deals with large corporations.
- Strong understanding of government procurement processes and regulations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
