Gps Installation Technician

Key Responsibilities:

1. Install GPS tracking devices in various types of vehicles (cars, buses, trucks, two-wheelers, etc.).
2. Perform wiring connections including ignition line, power supply, ground, relay connections, and panic buttons.
3. Test installed devices to ensure real-time tracking, engine on/off detection, and proper connectivity.
4. Troubleshoot and repair faulty GPS devices or wiring issues.
5. Handle device replacements, upgrades, and maintenance visits.
6. Maintain installation reports and update job completion status.
7. Coordinate with backend technical team for SIM activation and server configuration.
8. Ensure neat and secure installation without damaging vehicle wiring.
9. Educate customers on basic usage of GPS tracking system and mobile application.
10. Follow company safety and installation standards at all times.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Basic knowledge of vehicle electrical systems.
• Experience in GPS device installation preferred.
• Ability to use tools such as multimeter, wire cutter, tester, etc.
• Understanding of 2G/4G GPS trackers.
• Basic smartphone and app handling knowledge.
• Good troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to travel across assigned territory.
• Valid driving license preferred.

Experience:

• 0–3 years in GPS installation / Auto electrician / Vehicle accessories installation.
• Freshers with electrical knowledge may also apply.
• Working Conditions:Field job requiring travel.
