Job Description: Head Chef – Central Kitchen


About the Company

We’re building a clean, consistent, and process-driven gol gappe brand — bringing structure and hygiene to a category loved across India. Our central kitchen supports multiple carts and is focused on quality, simplicity, and repeatability.


Role Overview


The Head Chef will manage day-to-day F&B operations at the central kitchen and help standardise key preparation processes, especially aloo prep. This role suits someone who enjoys working with clear systems, maintaining hygiene, and ensuring consistent taste across batches.


You will work with a sous chef and coordinate closely with the operations team to keep the kitchen running smoothly.


Key Responsibilities


Oversee daily kitchen prep including aloo processing, seasoning, and packaging


Help create and follow standard processes to ensure consistent taste and quality


Maintain hygiene and food safety standards in the kitchen


Supervise the sous chef and kitchen staff during daily operations


Conduct basic quality checks before dispatch


Requirements


2-4 years of experience in professional kitchens or QSR setups


Familiarity with bulk prep and standardised cooking


Basic understanding of hygiene and food safety practices


Comfortable following and documenting simple SOPs


Reliable, organised, and hands-on


Compensation


₹20,000 – ₹25,000 per month, based on experience
