Job Description
- 1. Team Supervision & ManagementSupervise housekeeping staff and allocate daily duties
- Ensure proper staffing and shift management
- Train new employees on cleaning standards and procedures
- 2. Cleanliness & Hygiene StandardsEnsure all rooms, common areas, and facilities are clean and well-maintained
- Conduct regular inspections to maintain quality standards
- Ensure adherence to hygiene and sanitation protocols
- 3. Inventory & Supplies ManagementMonitor stock levels of cleaning materials and amenities
- Ensure timely requisition and proper storage of supplies
- Minimize wastage and control costs
- 4. Room & Area ReadinessEnsure rooms are prepared as per standards before guest check-in
- Coordinate with front office for room availability status
- Handle urgent cleaning requirements efficiently
- 5. Maintenance CoordinationReport maintenance issues (electrical, plumbing, etc.) promptly
- Coordinate with maintenance team for quick resolution
- 6. Guest SatisfactionAddress guest complaints related to housekeeping promptly
- Ensure high standards of service and guest comfort
- Maintain positive interaction with guests
- 7. Compliance & SafetyEnsure adherence to safety procedures and company policies
- Monitor use of cleaning chemicals and equipment safely
- Maintain staff discipline and grooming standards
- 8. Reporting & DocumentationMaintain daily housekeeping reports and checklists
- Track staff attendance and performance
- Submit reports to management on regular basis
