Job Description

  1. Recruitment & Onboarding:

  • Post job openings on various job portals and internal systems.
  • Screen resumes, conduct initial interviews, and shortlist candidates.
  • Coordinate interview schedules between candidates and hiring managers.
  • Assist in the onboarding process for new employees, including documentation and orientation sessions.
  • Prepare and share offer letters, contracts, and employee handbooks.
  1. Employee Relations:

  • Address employee queries related to company policies, benefits, and general concerns.
  • Act as a point of contact for employee grievances and assist in conflict resolution.
  • Foster a positive work environment and handle employee morale issues.
  • Organize employee engagement activities, team-building events, and wellness programs.
  1. Training and Development:

  • Assist in organizing training programs and workshops for employees.
  • Track employee progress and performance, and recommend training based on gaps.
  • Maintain a record of employees' skill sets, training completed, and certifications earned.
  1. Performance Management:

  • Coordinate with managers to assist in the performance appraisal process.
  • Provide support for setting performance goals and evaluating employees’ progress.
  • Assist in creating individual development plans (IDPs) and performance improvement plans (PIPs) when necessary.
  1. HR Policies and Compliance:

  • Ensure the company is compliant with labor laws and statutory requirements (e.g., ESI, PF, Gratuity).
  • Update and enforce HR policies and procedures.
  • Ensure all employee documentation is up to date and filed properly.
  • Maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information.
  1. Payroll Administration:

  • Support in processing payroll, ensuring accurate calculation of salaries, deductions, and bonuses.
  • Assist employees with payroll-related queries and resolve discrepancies.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of statutory payments like taxes, PF, and ESI.
  1. Employee Benefits Management:

  • Administer employee benefits programs like health insurance, leave policies, etc.
  • Assist employees with their benefits enrollment, claims, and general inquiries.
  • Ensure compliance with the company’s benefits policies.
  1. Exit Process:

  • Handle employee exit interviews, ensuring all necessary formalities are completed.
  • Process resignation, termination, or retirement documents.
  • Ensure the return of company assets (laptops, ID cards, etc.).
  • Prepare full and final settlement and ensure timely processing of dues.
  1. HR Reporting & Documentation:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personal, professional, and payroll data.
  • Prepare regular HR reports, including employee turnover, headcount, and recruitment statistics.
  • Assist in audits and ensure proper documentation for HR activities.
  1. Employee Safety and Wellbeing:

  • Oversee workplace safety protocols and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Support initiatives for employee mental health and wellbeing programs.
  1. HR Systems Management:

  • Maintain HRMS (Human Resource Management System) for data entry, reporting, and tracking.
  • Ensure the accuracy of employee records in the HR system.

Skills Required:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of HR software like Pagarbook
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Time management and organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail and confidentiality.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Understanding of labor laws and HR best practices.
