Job Title: Education Counselor – IT Training & Admissions

Department: Sales & Student Counseling

Location: Delhi (Ramesh Nagar)



Job Summary:

This is a full-time Academic Counsellor (Sales) role located in Ramesh Nagar. The Academic Counsellor will be responsible for student counselling, career counselling, academic advising, and providing education guidance to learners. The role involves on-site interactions with students and facilitating their educational journey.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Counsel prospective students via calls, walk-ins, online inquiries, and follow-ups to help them select the right IT course.
  • Understand each student’s career goals, academic background, and skill level to recommend the best program.
  • Explain course details such as curriculum, duration, fees, certification, and career opportunities.
  • Convince and convert potential students into admissions.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly admission or revenue targets.
  • Close sales and achieve monthly quotas.
  • Maintain accurate records of inquiries, follow-ups, and conversions in the CRM system.
  • Participate in career seminars, webinars, and promotional activities to generate leads.
  • Stay updated with the latest IT technologies, market trends, and career demands.
  • Ensure a high level of student satisfaction and retention through ongoing engagement and support.

 



Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (IT, Computer Science, or Business preferred).
  • 1–4 years of experience as an Education Counselor / Academic Advisor in an IT training.
  • Previous working experience as an Admission Counsellor/Outbound Sales/Inside Sales/ B2C Sales for (1 - 4) years.
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills with a proven ability to meet or exceed targets.
  • Excellent communication (verbal & written) and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a results-driven team.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and online meeting platforms (Zoom, Google Meet, etc.).

 


Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Number of student enrollments.
  • Revenue generated per month/quarter.
  • Lead-to-conversion ratio.
  • Student satisfaction and feedback.
