Inventory Management Executive

SVB Bearings Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory & Warehouse Executive to manage inventory operations, ensure efficient warehousing practices, and support smooth supply chain functioning. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in maintaining accurate stock levels, optimizing storage, and ensuring timely availability of materials to support production and sales.

• ResponsibilitiesInventory ManagementMonitor and control inventory levels to avoid overstocking or stock shortages.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using ERP or inventory management systems.
• Conduct regular stock audits, cycle counts, and physical verification.
• Coordinate with procurement and production teams for material planning and replenishment.
• Warehousing OperationsOversee day-to-day warehouse activities including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch.
• Ensure proper storage of bearings and related components to prevent damage and ensure quality.
• Optimize warehouse layout for efficient material movement and space utilization.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and compliance with standard operating procedures.
• Inward & Outward LogisticsVerify incoming materials against purchase orders and ensure proper documentation.
• Coordinate dispatch schedules with logistics partners and ensure timely deliveries.
• Prepare and maintain GRNs, delivery challans, invoices, and stock transfer records.
• Process Improvement & Cost ControlIdentify inefficiencies in inventory and warehousing processes and suggest improvements.
• Minimize inventory carrying costs, wastage, and material losses.
• Support implementation of FIFO / FEFO inventory practices.
• Reporting & CoordinationGenerate inventory, aging, and consumption reports for management review.
• Coordinate with sales, accounts, and production departments for smooth operations.
• Assist in demand forecasting and inventory planning.
• Qualifications & SkillsBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in inventory management or warehousing, preferably in manufacturing or industrial sectors.
• Strong knowledge of inventory control methods, warehouse operations, and documentation.
• Familiarity with ERP systems, Excel, and inventory tracking tools.
• Good analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under operational pressure.
• Preferred RequirementsExperience in bearings, automotive, or industrial components industry.
• Knowledge of ISO standards, inventory audits, and warehouse safety practices.
• Exposure to B2B manufacturing environments.
