 Job Title: IT Support Executive

Location: Mumbai, Delhi and Coimbatore

Department: IT Support

Reports To: IT Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled IT Support Executive to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to end-users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems. This role requires expertise in Windows desktop and server environments, Active Directory management, and networking.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support for Windows desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
  • Manage and troubleshoot Windows Server, including Active Directory, Group Policy, and user account management.
  • Administer and support virtualization technologies (Hyper-V, VMware).
  • Perform network troubleshooting, including VPNs, routers, and switches.
  • Install, update, and troubleshoot software applications used in the client environment.
  • Assist in IT asset management, including hardware and software inventory.
  • Provide remote and on-site support for company clients as needed.
  • Document IT issues, resolutions, and time spent.
  • Collaborate with principle, vendors and service providers for IT-related support.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Some experience in IT support or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows OS (desktop and server) and troubleshooting skills.
  • Hands-on experience with Active Directory, Group Policy.
  • Understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPNs.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies (Hyper-V, VMware) is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently.

Preferred Certifications (Optional but a Plus):

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, MCSA, or equivalent
  • CCNA or equivalent networking certification
