Job Description
- 1. Food Preparation & QualityPrepare authentic Italian dishes (pasta, pizza, sauces, etc.) as per standard recipes
- Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion size
- Maintain high quality of food at all times
- 2. Menu Planning & InnovationDesign and update Italian menu items
- Introduce new dishes based on trends and customer preferences
- Standardize recipes and preparation methods
- 3. Kitchen OperationsManage daily kitchen operations for Italian cuisine section
- Ensure timely preparation and service during peak hours
- Coordinate with kitchen team for smooth workflow
- 4. Inventory & Cost ControlMonitor stock levels of ingredients and kitchen supplies
- Control food cost and minimize wastage
- Ensure proper storage and FIFO (First In First Out) practices
- 5. Hygiene & Food SafetyMaintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen area
- Follow food safety standards and guidelines
- Ensure proper handling and storage of raw materials
- 6. Team ManagementTrain and guide kitchen staff and helpers
- Assign duties and monitor performance
- Maintain discipline and teamwork in the kitchen
- 7. Equipment HandlingEnsure proper use and maintenance of kitchen equipment
- Report any breakdown or maintenance requirements
- 8. Customer SatisfactionEnsure high-quality food and presentation for guest satisfaction
- Handle special requests and dietary requirements
