Manufacturing Chemist

Key Responsibilities

• Process Management: Develop, optimize, and implement chemical manufacturing processes for efficiency and quality.
• Quality Control: Perform chemical/physical analyses, stability tests, and ensure products meet specs.
• Documentation: Maintain batch records (BMRs), logbooks, SOPs, and other quality documents.
• Compliance: Ensure adherence to GMP, ISO, and safety regulations (HSE).
• Troubleshooting: Investigate production issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions (CAPAs).
• Coordination: Liaise with Production, QA, QC, Warehouse, and Engineering teams for smooth workflow.
• Manpower: Plan shifts, distribute work, and supervise production staff.
• Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives and support new product development. 

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Education: B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.
• Experience: 3+ years in a production/manufacturing environment.
• Technical Skills: Strong grasp of chemical principles, analytical methods, lab equipment, GMP/ISO.
• Soft Skills: Problem-solving, analytical mindset, attention to detail, teamwork, communication.
