About the Role


We are looking for an experienced Factory Manager to lead the overall manufacturing operations — including production planning, workforce management, quality control, vendor coordination, and on-time delivery. The ideal candidate should be highly organized, responsible, and capable of managing people, machines, materials, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.


-Key Responsibilities


  • Production & Operations Management
  • Plan, schedule, and manage daily production activities.
  • Oversee all manufacturing processes: 3D printing, assembly, sheet metal, CNC, finishing, painting, packaging, etc.
  • Allocate manpower, machines, and materials to meet deadlines.
  • Ensure seamless workflow across design, fabrication, and dispatch.
  • Vendor & Supplier ManagementIdentify, evaluate, and manage vendors for raw materials, machining, finishing, packaging, logistics, and other outsourced services.
  • Negotiate prices, timelines, and supply terms to maintain cost-effectiveness.
  • Ensure timely procurement and availability of materials without stockouts.
  • Maintain a list of approved vendors and track their performance.
  • Coordinate purchase orders, follow-ups, delivery timelines, and issue resolution with external partners.
  • Team Management - Lead technicians, operators, helpers, and support staff.
  • Assign daily tasks, monitor output, and ensure accountability.
  • Train team members on new machines, processes, and safety practices.
  • Quality Control - Implement quality checks at every production stage.
  • Ensure all products meet required specifications before dispatch.
  • Maintain documentation, inspection reports, and follow the QAP.
  • Inventory & Material HandlingManage inventory of raw materials, consumables, tools, and spares.
  • Coordinate with suppliers for timely replenishment.
  • Track usage, minimize wastage, and maintain accurate stock records.
  • Client & Project Coordination - Coordinate with design and sales teams to understand project requirements.
  • Track project progress and ensure timely delivery to clients.
  • Assist with client visits, inspections, and approvals when needed.
  • Maintenance & Safety - Oversee preventive maintenance of machines and equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and proper factory housekeeping.
  • Follow all regulatory and environmental guidelines.
  • Documentation & Reporting - Maintain daily production logs, attendance, and shift records.
  • Prepare MIS reports and update management on progress and challenges.
  • Track timelines, deliveries, and resource requirements.


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Mechanical/Production/Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
  • 2–8 years experience in factory or production management.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing methods.
  • Strong vendor management, negotiation, and coordination skills.
  • Excellent team leadership and communication abilities.
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Knowledge of quality standards, safety rules, and compliance.
  • Preferred (Not Mandatory)Experience in additive manufacturing or prototyping industry.
  • Experience with ERP or production management tools.
  • Hands-on machine troubleshooting skills.
