🕶️ Job Description: Traveling Sales Representative / Regional Sales Executive

Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Traveling Sales Representative to join our spectacles company. This individual will be responsible for driving sales and expanding our market presence across various states. The core responsibilities include direct sales to retailers/distributors, order fulfillment, and cash recovery/payment collection. This role requires extensive travel and a strong commitment to meeting sales and collection targets.

Key Responsibilities

 * Sales & Business Development:

  * Travel extensively within assigned states/regions to meet potential and existing clients (opticians, eyewear retailers, distributors).

  * Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets for our range of spectacles and eyewear products.

  * Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to showcase the features and benefits of our collections.

  * Identify new market opportunities and onboard new clients/outlets.

 * Collection & Recovery:

  * Crucially, ensure timely collection and recovery of payments from clients (managing credit terms, outstanding balances, and verifying cash/bank deposits).

  * Maintain accurate records of all sales transactions and collections.

  * Reconcile sales accounts and report on collection status regularly.

 * Client Relationship Management:

  * Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with customers.

  * Address client inquiries, resolve issues, and provide excellent after-sales support.

  * Gather market feedback on product performance and competitor activities.

 * Reporting & Administration:

  * Submit daily/weekly sales and travel reports to the management.

  * Manage and track inventory samples and marketing materials.

  * Plan travel itinerary efficiently to maximize client visits and minimize costs.

Required Qualifications & Skills

 * Experience: [Insert number, e.g., 2-5] years of proven experience in field sales, preferably within the eyewear, FMCG, or related consumer goods industry.

 * Education: [Specify, e.g., Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.]
