Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled MEP Engineer (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) to design, coordinate, and supervise MEP systems for construction projects. The MEP Engineer will ensure that all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems are designed and installed in compliance with project requirements, industry standards, and local regulations.

Key ResponsibilitiesDesign & Engineering

• Design and review Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems in accordance with project specifications and codes
• Prepare technical drawings, schematics, layouts, and calculations
• Coordinate MEP designs with architectural and structural teams

Project Coordination & Execution

• Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of MEP systems on site
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and suppliers to ensure timely execution
• Review shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements
• Identify and resolve design and site-related technical issues

Quality, Safety & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with local authority regulations, international standards, and safety requirements
• Conduct inspections and quality checks for MEP works
• Ensure systems meet performance, efficiency, and sustainability requirements

Testing & Commissioning

• Oversee testing, commissioning, and handover of MEP systems
• Prepare technical reports, operation manuals, and as-built documentation
• Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
• Proven experience as an MEP Engineer in construction or engineering projects
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, and fire protection systems
• Familiarity with international codes and standards (ASHRAE, NEC, NFPA, IPC, etc.)
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and other engineering software
• Skills & CompetenciesStrong technical and analytical skills

• Preferred QualificationsProfessional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification
