Medical Transcriptionist

A Medical Transcriptionist (MT) is responsible for accurately converting voice-recorded medical reports into written documents. This includes transcribing physician dictations such as patient histories, discharge summaries, operative reports, and clinical notes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Transcribe medical dictations with high accuracy and attention to detail
• Review and edit reports for grammar, clarity, and medical terminology
• Ensure compliance with healthcare standards and confidentiality guidelines
• Maintain turnaround time as per organizational requirements
• Coordinate with healthcare providers for clarifications when needed

Skills Required:

• Strong knowledge of medical terminology
• Excellent typing and listening skills
• Good command of English grammar and punctuation
