Operations Manager

We are looking for an experienced and reliable professional to manage end-to-end operations of our granite business. The role involves handling sales, purchase, dispatch, operations, and sampling, and coordinating with customers, suppliers, factories, and logistics partners. The candidate should be an all-rounder with strong knowledge of the granite industry.

• Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Customer Coordination
• Handle domestic granite sales
• Coordinate with customers for inquiries, quotations, and order finalization
• Follow up on payments, order status, and customer satisfaction
• Purchase & Vendor ManagementManage granite block/slab purchases from quarries and suppliers
• Negotiate prices, quality, and delivery timelines
• Maintain supplier relationships and purchase records
• Operations ManagementOversee day-to-day granite operations (cutting, polishing, processing)
• Coordinate with factories and workers to ensure production timelines
• Ensure quality control as per customer requirements
• Dispatch & LogisticsManage dispatch planning for slabs, tiles, and blocks
• Coordinate with transporters, freight forwarders, and shipping agents
• Prepare dispatch documents (invoices, packing lists, etc.)
• Sampling & Product DevelopmentManage granite sample preparation and dispatch to customers
• Maintain sample inventory and catalog
• Assist in new material development and selection
• Documentation & ReportingMaintain sales, purchase, stock, and dispatch records
• Prepare basic reports for management
• Coordinate with accounts team when required
• Requirements
• 
  
• Experience: Minimum 2 years in granite / marble / natural stone / construction industry
• Strong understanding of granite materials, sizes, finishes, and quality
• Ability to manage multiple functions independently
• Good communication and negotiation skills
• Basic computer knowledge (Excel, email, ERP if any)
• Willingness to take ownership and responsibility
• Preferred SkillsExperience in export granite business (if applicable)
• Knowledge of logistics and documentation
• Problem-solving attitude and leadership skills
