Role Title

Packing Material Executive (Procurement & Inventory Control)

Salary

₹25,000 – ₹30,000 per month

Experience & Skill Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing company
• Strong knowledge of Advanced Excel (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, stock trackers, MIS reports).
• Experience working on ERP / inventory systems will be an added advantage.
• Good communication and coordination skills with production, PPC, and vendors.

Core Objective

To ensure zero stock-outs, uninterrupted packing operations, and continuous reduction in packing material costs through efficient procurement and inventory planning.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory Planning & Control

• Ensure 100% availability of all packing materials at all times.
• Plan inventory in line with PPC dispatch and production plans.
• Maintain defined minimum–maximum stock levels for each SKU.
• Track daily stock levels, consumption, and inward movements.
• Prevent emergency purchases through proactive planning.

Procurement & Vendor Management

• Procure packing materials at approved or negotiated optimal rates.
• Identify, develop, and maintain alternate vendors to avoid dependency.
• Monitor supplier performance on price, quality, and delivery timelines.
• Support cost reduction initiatives through benchmarking and negotiation.

Operations & Reporting

• Ensure packing lines never stop due to material shortages.
• Maintain accurate and clean records in Excel / ERP / inventory systems.
• Share daily and weekly stock and procurement reports with OFE.
• Highlight risks, shortages, and excess inventory in advance.
