Payment Collection Executive – Job Role & Responsibilities

A Collection Agent is responsible for recovering outstanding payments from customers on behalf of a company or financial institution. Their role ensures healthy cash flow, reduces overdue accounts, and maintains positive customer relationships while adhering to company policies and legal guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

· Contact Customers: Reach out to customers via phone, email, or visits to remind them of pending dues.

· Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of calls, payment commitments, and follow-ups in company systems.

· Issue Resolution: Understand customer grievances, disputes, or financial difficulties and provide solutions or escalate as needed.

· Follow Compliance: Ensure all interactions meet regulatory guidelines (RBI, company policies, data privacy norms).

· Achieve Targets: Work toward daily/weekly/monthly collection targets set by the company.

· Coordination: Collaborate with the finance and customer service teams to resolve payment issues efficiently.
