Pharmacist

A Pharmacist is responsible for dispensing prescription medications, ensuring safe and effective use of medicines, advising patients on proper medication usage, and maintaining pharmacy operations in compliance with healthcare regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and verify prescriptions issued by physicians and other healthcare professionals.

• Accurately dispense prescription medications to patients.

• Provide guidance on medication dosage, side effects, interactions, and storage.

• Ensure patients understand proper usage of medications and treatment plans.

• Maintain patient medication records and confidentiality.

• Monitor drug therapies to prevent harmful drug interactions.

• Manage pharmacy inventory, including ordering and stocking medications.

• Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws, regulations, and safety standards.

• Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.

• Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff when required.
