PR Executive

Position OverviewThe PR Executive will be responsible for managing the organization’s public image, building relationships with media, stakeholders, and the community, and ensuring effective communication across all channels. The role involves drafting press releases, handling media queries, coordinating events, and maintaining a positive brand reputation.

• Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement PR strategies to promote the organization’s vision and activities.
• Draft press releases, newsletters, speeches, and other communication material.
• Maintain strong relationships with media houses, journalists, and community partners.
• Manage the organization’s online presence, including social media platforms and website updates.
• Organize press conferences, events, and promotional activities.
• Monitor media coverage and prepare regular reports.
• Handle crisis communication effectively and maintain the institution’s reputation.
• Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, admissions, events) to ensure consistent messaging.
• Support branding and visibility campaigns through tie-ups, sponsorships, and outreach activities.
• QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Mass Communication, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field (Master’s preferred for senior roles).
• 1–3 years of experience in PR, communications, or media (freshers with strong skills may also be considered).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (additional language proficiency is a plus).
• Strong media relations, networking, and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of digital marketing and social media management.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
