Job Description – Production Manager (PVC Manufacturing)

Location: Bawana, Delhi

Experience Required: 10–15 Years

Role Overview:Manoj Plastics is looking for an experienced Production Manager to oversee and manage complete shop-floor operations for PVC manufacturing. The role demands strong leadership, hands-on manufacturing exposure, and the ability to drive productivity, quality, and cost efficiency.

• Key Responsibilities:Plan, manage, and control day-to-day production operations to meet targets
• Oversee PVC manufacturing processes (extrusion/molding/compounding as applicable)
• Ensure optimum utilization of machines, manpower, and raw materials
• Monitor production KPIs such as productivity, rejection, downtime, and efficiency
• Implement process improvements to reduce wastage and production cost
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, SOPs, and safety norms
• Coordinate with Maintenance for preventive and breakdown maintenance
• Work closely with Quality, SCM, and Dispatch teams for smooth operations
• Manage workforce planning, shift allocation, training, and discipline
• Prepare and present daily/weekly/monthly production MIS reports
• Ensure statutory, safety, and environmental compliance at the plant
• Desired Candidate Profile:10–15 years of experience in PVC / plastic manufacturing industry
• Strong shop-floor exposure with high-volume production handling
• Proven experience in team handling and shift-based manufacturing
• Sound knowledge of production planning, quality systems, and cost control
• Experience working in ISO-compliant manufacturing environments
• Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
• Educational Qualification:B.E./B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical, Production, or related discipline
• Preferred Skills:Hands-on experience with PVC extrusion/molding processes
• Exposure to Lean Manufacturing / Continuous Improvement
• ERP/MIS reporting knowledge
