Production Manager – Furniture Manufacturing (Kirti Nagar, Delhi)

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Production Manager to oversee the complete production cycle for our furniture division. This role involves coordinating with multiple vendors and workshops, ensuring timely production of sofas, tables, chairs, beds, and custom-made furniture items, managing materials, monitoring quality, and ensuring smooth dispatch and delivery.

The ideal candidate must be highly organized, responsible, and well-versed with Kirti Nagar’s furniture manufacturing ecosystem.

• Key Responsibilities1. Production & Vendor ManagementManage production across multiple furniture factories/workshops in Kirti Nagar.
• Regularly follow up with vendors, craftsmen, and karigars to ensure timely progress.
• Coordinate work orders, assign tasks, and maintain production timelines.
• Solve on-ground production issues quickly and efficiently.
• 2. Quality ControlInspect products at different stages—frame making, foam work, upholstery, polishing, and finishing.
• Ensure quality standards are consistently met across all departments.
• Identify faults or delays and ensure corrective actions are taken immediately.
• 3. Raw Material ProcurementSource and procure raw materials such as plywood, foam, fabric, hardware, polish materials, fittings, etc.
• Maintain inventory for daily production needs.
• Build and maintain vendor relationships for cost-effective and timely purchasing.
• 4. Coordination & Workflow ManagementAlign production with customer orders and sales team instructions.
• Maintain accurate production sheets, tracking order-wise progress.
• Coordinate between design team, factory workshops, and logistics team.
• Ensure custom orders are executed as per brief.
• 5. Shipping & DispatchOversee packing, QC, and dispatch of all furniture items.
• Ensure correct labeling, documentation, and delivery schedules.
• Work with delivery teams/transporters to ensure smooth logistics.
• 6. Reporting & DocumentationMaintain daily production logs and vendor follow-up reports.
• Update the management with progress status on all orders.
• Manage digital and physical records of purchases, expenses, and production timelines.
• Required Skills & ExperienceMinimum 2–5 years experience in furniture production, workshop management, or factory operations.
• Strong understanding of furniture manufacturing—sofas, chairs, tables, beds, polishing, upholstery, etc.
• Should know Kirti Nagar vendor markets, material shops, and workshop ecosystem.
• Excellent coordination, communication, and time-management skills.
• Ability to handle multiple vendors and units simultaneously.
• Strong problem-solving skills and on-ground decision-making ability.
• Must be comfortable with travel within Kirti Nagar and nearby industrial areas.
• Basic knowledge of documentation, order sheets, and WhatsApp/phone coordination.
• Working Days & TimingsTuesday to Sunday (Monday off)
• Full-day role (on-ground management)
