As a Program Manager, you'll be a part of EMBU and will report to Lead-PMO.The incumbent will be responsible for driving cross-functional business initiatives across the value chain. This role will anchor program governance, ensure alignment with strategic priorities and deliver measurable business outcomes through structured program management, stakeholder orchestration and KPI tracking.

A purpose driven role for you

As a Program Manager, you will have the primary responsibility for oversight of the administrative operations. Interacting across multiple functional areas, this individual will significantly increase interdepartmental efficiencies. The incumbent in this role will provide oversight and guidance to projects of high importance and will lead key strategic cross-functional and transformational projects.

A Day in the life

1. Program Delivery & Governance:

• Define program charters, milestones, success criteria, and governance cadence.
• Track interdependencies, manage risks, and drive action closure through regular PMO review.

2. Process & Capability Development:

• Define and institutionalize SOPs, templates, and review mechanisms.
• Conduct post-program reviews, capture learnings.
• Benchmark PMO practices with leading OEMs to drive continuous improvement.

3. Data, Reporting & Insights:

• Maintain central PMO dashboards and trackers with updated program status and KPIs.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and visibility across functions.
• Institutionalize digital tools for program tracking (Smartsheet / Power BI / Excel).

4. Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Management:

• Drive alignment between Product, Sales, Service,Brand, Marketing and Strategy teams.
• Facilitate conflict resolution and ensure dependencies are addressed proactively.
• Build influence-based accountability frameworks across the BU.

5. Business Planning & Prioritization:

• Translate BU strategy into executable programs with measurable business outcomes.
• Support annual operating plan (AOP) with clear initiative mapping and KPI linkage.
• Monitor initiative progress and flag deviations.
• Support decision-making on program prioritization, trade-offs and impact.

Academic Qualification & Experience

Preferabbly MBA, BE/ B.Tech
Relevant Experience 5-10 years of prior experience in product development, program management, strategy or consulting. Automotive/ EV domain is preferred

Technical Skills/Knowledge

• Detailed analysis of business requirements and drafting comprehensive BRDs.
• Managing end-to-end activities for product design and development, go to market, launch, market entry etc.
• Monitoring quality cost and time of projects, risk identification, reporting.
• Value stream mapping for processes, benchmarking, improvement planning.
• Execution of strategic initiatives such as cost optimization, supply chain visibility, salesforce effectiveness, marketing effectiveness, quality control, digital transformation etc.
• PMO charter drafting, risk registers, milestone charts, project summary.
• Expert in Excel, PPT, Power Bi.
