KEY RESPONSIBLITES

We are hiring a Purchase Manager shine hr solutiosn a leading manufacturer of men’s sportswear. The role requires proven experience in the apparel and sportswear manufacturing industry, with strong knowledge of fabrics, trims, and garment accessories. The ideal candidate will have expertise in vendor management, negotiation, cost optimization, and supply chain coordination to ensure timely availability of high-quality materials at competitive prices.

Key Responsibilities

Procurement & Sourcing:

Identify, evaluate, and source fabrics, trims, accessories, and packaging materials specific to men’s sportswear.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with local and international suppliers.

Stay updated with market trends, pricing, and availability of sportswear-related raw materials.

Vendor & Supplier Management:

Negotiate pricing, credit terms, and contracts with vendors.

Maintain a robust supplier database and conduct periodic performance reviews.

Ensure vendors meet company standards for quality, timelines, and compliance.

Inventory & Cost Control:

Plan and monitor material requirements in alignment with production schedules.

Maintain optimal inventory levels to avoid overstocking or shortages.

Work on cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality.

Compliance & Quality Assurance:

Ensure all purchases comply with company standards, ethical sourcing practices, and sustainability goals.

Collaborate with QA teams to ensure materials meet required specifications.

Cross-Functional Coordination:

Work closely with design, production, merchandising, and logistics teams to align procurement with business goals.

Resolve supply chain bottlenecks to ensure smooth manufacturing operations.

Reporting & Analysis:

Track and analyze procurement KPIs such as lead time, cost variance, supplier performance, and savings achieved.

Present regular purchase reports to management.
