Job Description

The Real Estate Salesperson is responsible for helping clients buy, sell, and rent residential or commercial properties. This role involves generating leads, conducting property showings, negotiating contracts, and guiding clients through the transaction process while providing excellent customer service and market expertise.

  • Key ResponsibilitiesProspect for new clients through networking, referrals, marketing, and outreach
  • Consult with buyers and sellers to understand their property needs and goals
  • List properties for sale or lease, including pricing, staging guidance, and marketing
  • Conduct property showings, open houses, and client tours
  • Prepare and present offers, counteroffers, and purchase agreements
  • Negotiate terms and prices on behalf of clients
  • Coordinate with lenders, inspectors, appraisers, and attorneys
  • Maintain accurate records of transactions and client communications
  • Stay informed about local market trends, property values, and regulations
  • Ensure compliance with real estate laws, regulations, and ethical standards
  • QualificationsActive real estate salesperson license (state-specific)
  • High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
  • Strong sales, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Customer-focused mindset with strong interpersonal abilities
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Familiarity with MLS systems and real estate software
  • Basic understanding of contracts and real estate procedures
  • Preferred SkillsPrior experience in real estate, sales, or customer service
