Job Description

Dear Team,

We are looking to hire a Receptionist for our office. The ideal candidate should have a pleasant personality, be well-groomed, and maintain a professional dressing sense. She should be able to manage the front desk efficiently and represent the company in a positive and welcoming manner.

Role Overview:

A Receptionist is the first point of contact for an organization, responsible for greeting visitors, answering phone calls, and directing inquiries. Key responsibilities include managing schedules, handling mail and deliveries, maintaining a clean and organized reception area, and performing general administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and coordinating office supplies. The role requires strong communication, organization, and multitasking abilities.

Salary Range: ₹22,000 – ₹30,000 per month (based on skills and experience)



Core duties and responsibilities

  • Front desk management: Greet and welcome visitors, ensure a positive first impression, and direct them to the correct person or office.
  • Communication: Answer, screen, and forward incoming calls, take messages, and respond to emails and inquiries.
  • Administrative support: Handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and faxes.
  • Scheduling: Manage appointment calendars and book meeting rooms.
  • Office upkeep: Maintain a clean and organized reception area, monitor and reorder office supplies, and coordinate with maintenance staff.
  • Clerical tasks: Assist with general administrative duties such as data entry, filing, and preparing documents.
  • Customer service: Provide information to visitors and clients and address their needs.
