REGIONAL CREDIT MANAGER - PERSONAL LOAN

 Review and assess credit proposals for unsecured lending products, including personal loans, to determine creditworthiness and risk exposure. Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and other relevant documents to evaluate the financial stability and repayment capacity of potential borrowers. Develop and implement credit scoring models and risk assessment frameworks to standardize credit decision-making processes and optimize portfolio performance. Collaborate with sales teams, branch managers, and relationship managers to gather additional information and clarify credit-related queries during the application review process. Ensure adherence to credit policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, and recommend enhancements or revisions as necessary to mitigate risk and improve operational efficiency. Provide guidance and support to area/cluster credit managers in conducting credit assessments, resolving escalated issues, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and development within the credit department. Monitor portfolio quality, delinquency rates, and credit losses, and take proactive measures to address emerging credit risks and portfolio deterioration. Supervise and mentor area/cluster credit managers, providing guidance on credit analysis techniques, decision-making frameworks, and compliance standards. Set performance targets, monitor key metrics, and conduct regular performance reviews to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives. Facilitate training programs and knowledge sharing sessions to enhance the technical skills and competency levels of the credit team.
