Job Description

A Sales Executive in the Indian plastic granules industry (virgin or recycled) you will be responsible for driving revenue by acquiring new industrial clients, managing key accounts, and achieving monthly sales targets. Key duties include identifying leads, negotiating, maintaining client relationships, and monitoring market trends in polymer types like PP, HDPE, LDPE, and Masterbatch. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Generation: Develop new business opportunities through cold calling, email campaigns, and networking with plastic converters, manufacturers, and industries.
  • Target Achievement: Consistently meet monthly/quarterly sales volume and profitability targets.
  • Client Management: Maintain and build relationships with existing clients to ensure customer retention and satisfaction.
  • Market Intelligence: Monitor market trends, competitor pricing, and demand fluctuations for polymer raw materials.
  • Order Fulfillment: Coordinate with production and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of orders.
  • Reporting: Generate daily/weekly sales reports and manage client data using CRM tools. 

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience: 1–5+ years in B2B sales, specifically within the polymer, plastic granules, chemical, or manufacturing sector.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of polymers (Nylon, PP, LDPE, HDPE, PVC) and, if applicable, recycled plastic materials.
  • Negotiation & Communication: Excellent negotiation skills to close deals and strong communication skills to build rapport.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or Science (Plastics/Polymer Technology is a plus).
  • Travel: Willingness to travel to meet clients within India.
