Job Description

Role Summary


The Sales Executive will be responsible for handling incoming leads, generating new business, closing sales, and maintaining long-term customer relationships. The role involves selling machines, spare parts, and related equipment through phone calls, online platforms, and field visits where required.


Key Responsibilities


Sales & Lead Management


  • Handle leads generated from IndiaMART, TradeIndia, website, app, and manual sources
  • Contact customers via phone, WhatsApp, email, and meetings
  • Understand customer requirements and suggest suitable machines or spare parts
  • Prepare and share quotations, technical details, and follow-ups
  • Convert inquiries into confirmed sales orders


Customer Coordination


  • Maintain regular follow-up with new and existing customers
  • Coordinate with accounts for payment confirmation
  • Coordinate with dispatch/warehouse for order execution
  • Ensure customer satisfaction before and after sales


Market & Field Work


  • Visit customers, dealers, and project sites when required
  • Develop new dealers / customers in assigned territory
  • Collect market feedback, competitor pricing, and product demand
  • Assist in exhibitions, demos, and promotional activities


Reporting & Documentation


  • Maintain daily sales activity reports
  • Update CRM / Excel / internal system regularly
  • Share weekly and monthly sales performance reports
  • Maintain customer database properly


Sales Targets


  • Achieve monthly and yearly sales targets as assigned
  • Focus on both *machine sales and spare parts sales
  • Increase repeat orders and customer retention


Required Skills & Qualifications


  • Graduate / Diploma (Preferred)
  • 1–3 years of experience in B2B / machinery / industrial sales (preferred)
  • Good communication skills in Hindi & basic English
  • Knowledge of WhatsApp, email, and online portals
  • Basic understanding of machines / technical products (training will be provided)
  • Willingness to travel if required
