Job Title: Sales Executive/Manager – GeM Portal

We are looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Sales Executive/Manager to manage and grow our business on the Government e-Marketplace (GeM) portal. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in government sales, especially with experience handling sales on the GeM platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- GeM Portal Management:
- Manage the entire sales process on the GeM portal, including product listing, bid participation, price negotiation, and tender management.
- Lead Generation and Sales:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through GeM. Convert opportunities into sales and close deals in line with company targets.
- Bid & Tender Participation:
- Actively participate in government tenders and bidding processes, ensuring timely submission of tenders and proposals. Handle contract negotiations and post-tender documentation.
- Product Listing & Optimization:
- Regularly update product listings on the GeM portal, ensuring all necessary specifications, pricing, and documents are up-to-date and optimized for visibility.
- Relationship Building:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with government officials, procurement officers, and decision-makers to drive repeat business and ensure client satisfaction.
- Reporting & Analytics:
- Prepare sales reports, track performance on the GeM portal, and provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Key Skills & Requirements:
- Experience in GeM Portal Sales:
- Proven experience handling sales on the GeM platform, including bid management and government procurement.
- Sales Expertise:
- Strong sales acumen with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, particularly in the government sector.
- Communication & Negotiation:
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills. Ability to engage with government officials and procurement teams.
- Product Knowledge:
- Experience with AV systems, IT infrastructure, or related technology products is an advantage.
- Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, or a related field. MBA preferred.
