JOB DESCRIPTION: BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER – FOR COMMERCIAL INTERIORS

JOB SUMMARY Torex India is seeking a high-energy, seasoned Business Development Manager to lead our Commercial Project Sales & Marketing division. This role is designed for a closer—someone who can navigate the complexities of corporate interior projects, build a robust pipeline, and represent the Torex brand with exceptional professionalism. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of selling high-value fit-out or turnkey solutions to corporate clients and developers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

·       Lead Generation & Sales: Identify and secure high-value commercial interior projects including office spaces, retail outlets, and hospitality.

·       Strategic Marketing: Develop and implement targeted marketing strategies to position Torex India as a leader in the commercial interiors market.

·       Networking: Build and leverage a strong network of Architects, PMCs (Project Management Consultants), Developers, and Corporate Facility Managers.

·       Pitching & Presentation: Lead professional project pitches and presentations, effectively communicating technical and aesthetic value propositions.

·       Contract Management: Oversee the preparation of detailed proposals, BOQs (Bill of Quantities), and tender documents. Lead negotiations to close high-ticket contracts.

·       Stakeholder Coordination: Act as the bridge between the client and internal design/execution teams to ensure project alignment from concept to handover.

·       Market Intelligence: Monitor industry trends, competitor pricing, and new commercial developments to maintain a competitive edge.

REQUIREMENTS

·       Experience: Minimum 5+ years in Sales and Marketing specifically within Commercial Interiors, Office Fit-outs, or Turnkey Projects.

·       Communication: Exemplary English skills are a must. You must be comfortable communicating at the CXO/Director level.

·       Network: An existing database or relationship with architects and corporate consultants is highly preferred.

·       Sales Acumen: Strong ability to handle long sales cycles and navigate complex procurement processes.

·       Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of interior materials, drawings, and commercial costing.
