Key Responsibilities & Duties

Patrolling & Inspection: Conduct regular foot or vehicle patrols to monitor premises, check for unsecured doors, windows, and potential safety hazards like fire or water leaks.

Access Control & Surveillance: Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems, screen visitors, check IDs, and secure entrances/exits to prevent unauthorized access.

Incident Response: Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and security breaches, taking appropriate actions to maintain safety and order.

Reporting & Documentation: Write detailed, accurate, and timely reports regarding daily activities, incidents, or suspicious, criminal, or dangerous activity.

Enforcement & Safety: Enforce company policies and regulations, manage crowd control, and assist in evacuations if necessary.

Key Requirements & Qualifications

Education/Experience: High school diploma or equivalent, with prior experience in security, law enforcement, or military preferred.

Licensing: Valid security guard license or registration (state/local requirement).

Skills: Strong observational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in using surveillance equipment and communication devices.

Attributes: High integrity, dependability, ability to remain calm in emergencies, and good communication skills.

Physicality: Ability to stand/walk for long periods, work in varying weather conditions, and sometimes lift, push, or pull, depending on the site.
