Job Title: Senior Accountant – Import & Compliance

Location: Near Shivaji Park Metro Station, Opp Metro Pillar No. 149

Experience: 5–10 Years

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant who can manage company accounts, handle import transactions, coordinate with CHA, maintain financial records, and coordinate with CA for GST and TDS compliance. The candidate should be capable of maintaining balance sheets, stock records, and well versed with accounting principles with basic knowledge of GST. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Maintain and update the company balance sheet and profit & loss statements.
• Sale/ Purchase/Bank Statement Journal Entries on regular basis.
• Manage stock register and do inventory reconciliation.
• Perform bank reconciliation.
• Vendor/customer ledger reconciliation.
• Maintain import related documentation.
• Assist management with financial reports.
• Handle import accounting and coordinate clearing agents (CHA).
• Prepare GST and TDS returns summary and submit to CA.
• Prepare monthly and yearly financial summaries.
• Guide junior accountants for day to day tasks.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in import accounting and documentation.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and maintaining books of accounts.
• Proficiency in Busy Accounting Software, MS Excel, and MS Word.
• Email handling.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (B.Com / M.Com preferred).
• Working knowledge of GST and TDS.
• Good understanding of inventory and stock management.

• Experience in import/export or trading companies.
• Ability to handle multiple financial reports and compliance tasks.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
