Job Description

OverviewThe Senior E-Commerce Manager is responsible for leading the digital commerce strategy and driving online revenue growth across all e-commerce channels. This role oversees online operations, digital marketing performance, site experience, and cross-functional coordination to deliver best-in-class customer journeys and achieve commercial targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • 1. Strategy & LeadershipDevelop and implement the overall e-commerce strategy aligned with company goals.
  • Own revenue, profit margin, and online sales targets (P&L responsibility).
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the e-commerce team (marketing, merchandising, operations).
  • Identify new growth opportunities, emerging trends, and competitive insights.

2. E-Commerce Operations

.Oversee daily operations of the website and online marketplace channels.

  • Ensure product listings, pricing, inventory accuracy, and promotions are executed properly.
  • Manage order fulfilment, shipping performance, and post-purchase experience.
  • Coordinate with supply chain, logistics, IT, and customer service teams.
  • 3. Digital Marketing & GrowthDevelop performance marketing strategies (SEO, SEM, paid social, email automation, affiliates).
  • Optimize conversion rate, average order value (AOV), and customer lifetime value (CLV).
  • Conduct A/B testing to improve UX, site navigation, and checkout performance.
  • Manage agency partners for performance marketing, SEO, and creative needs.
  • 4. Data & AnalyticsMonitor KPIs: traffic, conversion, CAC, ROAS, retention, and customer behavior.
  • Create performance dashboards and regular business reviews for leadership.
  • Use data to guide decisions on promotions, assortment, and content optimization.
  • 5. Marketplace Management (if applicable)Oversee Amazon, Noon, Walmart, eBay, or other marketplace channels.
  • Optimize product content, pricing, ads, ratings, and reviews.
  • Drive marketplace sales growth and manage account health.
  • 6. Customer ExperienceEnsure a seamless, user-friendly online shopping experience.
  • Drive improvements in site speed, mobile performance, search functionality, and personalization.
  • Reduce cart abandonment and improve checkout flow.
  • 7. Stakeholder & Vendor ManagementManage external partners: digital agencies, tech providers, payment gateways, and 3PLs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams: marketing, finance, product, IT, supply chain.
  • Lead cross-functional projects related to e-commerce expansion.
  • Qualifications & SkillsEducation & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, E-Commerce, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 9 years of experience in e-commerce, digital marketing, or online retail.
  • Proven experience managing an e-commerce P&L and leading teams.
  • Experience with major platforms (Shopify, Magento, Salesforce Commerce, WooCommerce, etc.).
  • Technical SkillsStrong knowledge of Google Analytics, GA4, Data Studio, Power BI, or similar tools.
  • Experience with CMS, CRM, and marketing automation tools.
  • Understanding of UX/UI principles, A/B testing, and funnel optimization.
  • Soft SkillsStrategic thinker with strong leadership capabilities.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management.
  • Results-driven, analytical, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
