Ensuring safety
Shift engineers must adhere to safety regulations and procedures, and ensure that work equipment is in compliance with safety standards
Performing maintenance
Shift engineers perform preventative maintenance and scheduled maintenance to keep equipment functioning properly
Completing work orders
Shift engineers handle multiple work orders from various departments, fixing broken or malfunctioning machines as quickly as possible
Maintaining records
Shift engineers keep a logbook of the work completed and maintain accurate operational records
