Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Business Development Garment Merchandiser & Tele-Sales Executive who can manage client requirements end-to-end, generate new business through calls, and coordinate closely with the production team. The role combines merchandising expertise with proactive client acquisition, tele-sales, and relationship management in the garment and apparel industry.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Act as the primary point of contact for apparel brands, garment factories, and export houses
  • Conduct tele-sales and cold calling to generate new business opportunities
  • Introduce company products and fabric offerings to prospective clients
  • Understand client requirements for fabrics, trims, pricing, and delivery timelines
  • Coordinate sampling, costing, and production schedules with mills and vendors
  • Manage approvals such as lab dips, strike-offs, designs, and quality confirmations
  • Track orders from development stage to final dispatch and ensure timely delivery
  • Arrange client meetings and follow up on quotations and proposals
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing clients
  • Maintain accurate records of calls, inquiries, costing, and production status
  • Work closely with the director, sales team, and production team


Skills Required:


  • Strong knowledge of garment manufacturing, fabric sourcing, and merchandising
  • Proven experience in tele-sales, client acquisition, and business development
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills (English & Hindi)
  • Ability to handle multiple clients and timelines simultaneously
  • Strong follow-up skills and result-oriented approach
  • Good command of Excel, email communication, and reporting systems
  • Ability to understand customer needs and recommend suitable solutions
  • Experience handling B2B clients preferred

Requirements:


  • Minimum qualification: Graduate (Textiles / Fashion / Business preferred)
  • 7–15 years of experience in merchandising, tele-sales, or client management
  • Experience in garment factories, buying houses, or textile exports is essential
  • Strong track record in handling clients and generating business
