Job Description

Job Title: Area Sales Manager / Relationship Manager – Home Loans (DSA Channel)Role OverviewThe incumbent will be responsible for driving home loan sales through the Direct Sales Agent (DSA) channel. The role involves managing and expanding the DSA network, generating business, ensuring seamless loan processing, and achieving sales targets. Depending on the level (ASM/RM), the candidate will either lead the DSA channel at a regional level or directly manage and support DSA partners in day-to-day sales execution.

  • Key Responsibilities1. Sales & Target AchievementAchieve monthly, quarterly, and annual home loan sales targets through the DSA channel.
  • Drive revenue growth by maximizing productivity of DSA partners.
  • Support DSAs in meeting their individual sales targets through continuous guidance.
  • 2. DSA Recruitment & Network ExpansionIdentify, recruit, and onboard new Direct Sales Agents to expand the distribution network.
  • Conduct onboarding sessions and ensure DSAs are aligned with company policies and product offerings.
  • 3. DSA Relationship ManagementBuild and maintain strong, long-term relationships with DSA partners.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for DSAs to resolve queries and operational challenges.
  • Regularly engage with DSAs to improve performance and ensure consistent business flow.
  • 4. Lead Generation & ConversionCollaborate with DSAs to generate high-quality leads.
  • Drive conversion of prospects into customers through effective sales strategies.
  • Assist in closing high-value and complex deals.
  • 5. Customer Relationship ManagementEnsure a seamless and positive customer experience throughout the loan lifecycle.
  • Address customer queries and concerns promptly.
  • Coordinate with internal teams for timely loan approvals and disbursements.
  • 6. Loan Processing & DocumentationGuide DSAs in collecting and verifying required documentation.
  • Ensure all loan applications are accurate, complete, and compliant with policies.
  • Work closely with Credit and Operations teams for smooth processing.
  • 7. Sales Performance MonitoringTrack daily, weekly, and monthly performance of DSAs.
  • Provide regular feedback and implement action plans to improve productivity.
  • Analyze sales data and identify gaps and opportunities.
  • 8. Market Analysis & Business StrategyMonitor market trends, competitor offerings, and customer preferences.
  • Identify growth opportunities and implement strategies to increase market penetration.
  • Share insights with internal teams to strengthen sales approach.
  • 9. Compliance & Risk ManagementEnsure adherence to company policies and regulatory guidelines.
  • Monitor DSA activities to mitigate risks related to documentation and customer dealings.
  • 10. Reporting & MISMaintain accurate records of sales activities and pipeline in CRM systems.
  • Provide regular reports on sales performance, DSA productivity, and market insights to management.
  • Skills & QualificationsEducational QualificationBachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related field.
  • ExperienceASM Level: 5+ years of experience in home loans or financial services, with DSA/channel management experience.
  • RM Level: 2–3 years of experience in home loan sales or financial product sales.
  • Key SkillsStrong sales and target achievement orientation
  • Excellent relationship management and networking skills
  • Proven ability to manage and motivate DSA/channel partners
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills
  • Good understanding of home loan products and processes
  • Technical SkillsFamiliarity with CRM systems and loan processing tools
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
