Job Description
- To execute routine work in the laboratory, including documentation (as instructed), processing, and conducting tests/analysis by your team.
- May assist in scheduling and assigning routine work to junior staff.
- Ensure compliance with the Quality Plan pertaining to tests and equipment.
- Monitor the status of the team’s work and ensure that all reports are saved in line with the results received from the equipment.
- Conduct and participate in all training programs arranged as per the training calendar or by the Chief Technical and Quality Officer.
- Complete any other tasks assigned by top management from time to time.
- Ensure that all test results are generated as per the specified turnaround time or time commitment to the customer.
- Coordinate and conduct in-house equipment maintenance as per schedule and keep them in up-to-date working condition.
- Maintain detailed and accurate laboratory records and documentation in compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure adherence to laboratory safety protocols, including proper handling and disposal of biomedical waste.
- Ensure proper cleaning and follow safety and precautionary guidelines.
- Manage laboratory inventory.
- Provide technical guidance, training, and supervision to junior lab technicians and new hires.
- Assist in conducting RCA and CAPA.
- Assist in resolving equipment breakdowns.
- Closely monitor and relay information regarding critical reports.
- Handle queries.
