🧾 Job Summary

The Senior Technician at Aliste Technologies plays a key role in ensuring the effective operation, maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting of technical systems and equipment. The Senior Technician will lead technical tasks, provide hands-on support, mentor junior technicians, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime of hardware and technical infrastructure. This role requires strong technical knowledge, problem-solving capability, and excellent communication skills.

📌 Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Technical Operations & Maintenance

• Oversee the installation, configuration, maintenance, and repair of technical systems, tools, and equipment in line with company standards.

• Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring minimal disruption to operations and timely resolution of faults.

• Leadership & Mentoring

• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior technicians to develop their technical skills and performance.

• Lead technical tasks and ensure work is performed safely and effectively under limited supervision.

• Troubleshooting & Problem Resolution

• Perform systematic troubleshooting and corrective maintenance based on root-cause analysis.

• Collaborate with engineers and technical teams to escalate and resolve persistent issues.

• Documentation & Reporting

• Document technical procedures, maintenance logs, repair activities, and system performance for future reference and compliance.

• Prepare technical reports and escalate trends, risks, and recommendations to management.

• Quality, Safety & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies during all technical operations.

• Maintain a clean and safe working environment and follow risk mitigation practices.

• Continuous Improvement

• Identify opportunities to improve system performance, reliability, and technical processes.

• Stay updated with emerging technologies, best practices, and tools relevant to the role.

• Cross-Department Collaboration

• Work closely with engineering, support, and operations teams to deliver seamless technical support and solutions.

• Provide technical insights during planning, testing, and implementation of new systems and projects.

📌 Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience: Proven experience (typically 3–5 years) as a technician or senior technician handling technical systems and equipment.

• Education: Diploma/Advanced Diploma in Engineering, Electronics, Mechanical, IT, or related technical field; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

• Strong technical proficiency in installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of hardware and systems.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Ability to lead and mentor junior team members.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Good documentation and reporting skills.

• Familiarity with quality, safety, and compliance standards relevant to technical operations.
