Job Title: Lift/Elevator Installation Coordinator

Department: Installation

Reports To: Installation Manager

Location: New Delhi

Employment Type: Full-time


Job Summary

The Lift/Elevator Installation Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supporting elevator/lift installation activities to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within scope, and in compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements. This role acts as a key link between customers, site teams, subcontractors, engineering, and supply chain to ensure smooth execution from kickoff to handover.


Key Responsibilities

  • Project & Installation CoordinationCoordinate elevator/lift installation schedules in line with project milestones and site readiness.
  • Support project kickoff meetings, installation planning, and execution tracking.
  • Monitor daily/weekly progress and ensure installation activities align with approved plans.
  • Coordinate manpower allocation (installers, supervisors, subcontractors) as required.
  • Identify risks and constraints (site access, civil readiness, materials, approvals) and escalate early.


Site & Stakeholder Management

  • Liaise with customers, consultants, main contractors, and site teams to confirm installation requirements.
  • Conduct site readiness checks (shaft readiness, power supply, access, storage, safety compliance).
  • Coordinate site meetings and maintain minutes, action logs, and follow-ups.
  • Ensure smooth interface management between lift installation and other trades.


Material & Logistics Coordination

  • Coordinate delivery schedules for elevator components, tools, and consumables.
  • Track material availability and resolve shortages with supply chain and warehouse teams.
  • Ensure correct storage and handling of lift equipment at site.
  • Maintain records of deliveries, shortages, damages, and return items.


Quality, Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure installation activities comply with company safety policies and local regulations.
  • Coordinate permits, risk assessments, method statements, and toolbox talks.
  • Support inspections, testing, and commissioning readiness.
  • Ensure installation documentation is completed and submitted (checklists, NCRs, snag lists).


Reporting & Documentation

  • Prepare progress reports (daily/weekly), installation status updates, and dashboards.
  • Maintain installation trackers (schedule, manpower, materials, issues, and action plans).
  • Support project handover documentation and as-built records.
  • Coordinate completion certificates and handover packs as required.
  • Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Installation completion within agreed timelines
  • Zero major safety incidents / compliance adherence
  • Minimal installation rework / NCR closures on time
  • Material delivery accuracy and on-time availability
  • Customer/site satisfaction and smooth coordination


Required Qualifications

  • Any graduate
  • 1–5 years experience in elevator/lift installation coordination or construction project coordination.
  • Strong knowledge of lift installation processes, site requirements, and safety standards.
  • Familiarity with inspection/testing/commissioning coordination is an advantage.


Skills & Competencies

  • Strong planning, coordination, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple sites/projects simultaneously
  • Problem-solving and proactive issue resolution
  • Good documentation and reporting discipline
  • Working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Primavera / MS Project knowledge is a plus
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings/layouts (preferred)
