Site Supervisor

A Sign Board Supervisor (or Signage Production/Installation Supervisor) oversees the entire lifecycle of signage projects, from fabrication to on-site installation, ensuring high quality, safety, and adherence to design specs. Key duties include managing a team of sign-makers, coordinating schedules, interpreting technical drawings, controlling inventory, and maintaining client communication. 

Key Responsibilities

·        Production & Installation Supervision: Overseeing fabrication (acrylic, metal, 3D letters, vinyl) and managing on-site installation for both indoor and outdoor signage.

·        Team Leadership: Scheduling, training, coaching, and evaluating sign shop staff to ensure maximum productivity and safety.

·        Quality Control & Compliance: Checking finished products against specifications, ensuring compliance with local, state, and safety regulations.

·        Project & Resource Management: Planning project timelines, managing material inventory, and liaising with designers and clients.

·        Site Management: Visiting installation sites to take final measurements, troubleshoot, and ensure structural stability.

Required Skills and Qualifications

·        Experience: Proven experience in signage production, design, or installation, with previous supervisory experience preferred.

·        Technical Skills: Proficient in reading blueprints/technical drawings and knowledge of signage materials (vinyl, acrylic, metal, LEDs).

Leadership: Strong team management, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
