Site Supervisor

Job Role & Responsibilities

1. Site Management

• Supervise day-to-day construction activities on site.
• Ensure work is executed as per drawings, quality standards, and timelines.
• Coordinate with contractors, labour teams, engineers, and project managers.
• Maintain daily site reports, labour records, progress logs.

2. Quality & Safety Monitoring

• Enforce safety protocols and ensure all workers follow site safety rules.
• Check material quality, work quality, and verify measurements.
• Highlight deviations immediately and get corrective measures implemented.

3. Material & Resource Handling

• Manage material receipt, usage, and stock levels on site.
• Raise material requirements in advance to avoid delays.
• Prevent wastage and pilferage.

4. Coordination & Communication

• Liaise with architects, structural engineers, MEP teams, vendors, and suppliers.
• Communicate daily progress to the Project Manager.
• Manage client/site owner queries if required.

5. Execution Oversight

• Supervise shuttering, RCC, masonry, plaster, flooring, plumbing, electrical, and finishing works.
• Ensure correct levels, alignment, and workmanship.
• Support testing, inspections, and handover processes.

Candidate Requirements

Education:

• Diploma/ITI in Civil Engineering or relevant field (preferred)
• 10th/12th pass with strong experience can also apply

Experience:

• Minimum 2 years site supervision experience in building construction
• Experience with residential/commercial projects preferred
• Knowledge of drawings, BOQs, and construction sequences

Skills Required:

• Strong leadership & labour management
• Ability to read drawings and measure work correctly
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
• Basic computer/smartphone reporting

Other Requirements:

• Must be disciplined, honest, and punctual
• Should be able to handle pressure and meet deadlines
• Must be willing to work full-time on site
